Modest POS is a product developed and maintained by RCDL Apps.
By creating a Modest POS account, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Modest POS provides a point of sale system with AI-powered cross-sell recommendations, inventory management, and payment tracking. Merchants use the built-in Cashier Screen and self-service Kiosk. The service also includes a web dashboard for managing products, viewing analytics, configuring fallback recommendations, and managing billing.
You must provide a valid email address and business name to register. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and API keys.
Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time through the customer portal. Upon cancellation, your account will remain active until the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months.
You retain full ownership of all menu data, configuration, and business information you provide. We do not use your data to train or fine-tune AI models outside of generating real-time recommendations for your own POS requests.
Modest POS is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the service, including lost revenue from incorrect or missed recommendations. Total liability is limited to the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You may delete your account at any time from the dashboard. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violation of these terms. Upon termination, all data associated with your account will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
We may update these terms with 30 days' notice via email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
